Noble Rogue Publishing

Veritas. Virtus. Fidem.

We publish writers who teach what is honorable instead of what is beneficial.

Our flagship works

Two stories at the heart of the catalog: a sky-ship fantasy series and an allegory of what it means to be human.

Arland

An original fantasy series by Austin Parenti

A never-ending sandstorm covers the world of Arland. The Arlish people live on mountain peaks above the sand and travel on hand-crafted airships. But the sandstorm didn’t always exist, and when a young boy named Jay learns the truth, he will journey across Arland to save his people.

Redeeming Royalty

A novel by Chandler Moore

Anthro seeks to understand how morality and human dignity can exist in a strictly materialistic world. As he teeters on the edge of a nihilistic plunge, he hears of a mysterious King of Lux with a shocking message for humanity.

“Why should a man be scorned, if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if, when he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?”

What is a Noble Rogue?

At Noble Rogue Publishing, we promote writers who teach what is honorable instead of what is beneficial. We seek stories and content that challenge others to live truthful, virtuous, and faithful lives. In a word, we seek nobility.

The way of nobility is often unpopular. Regardless, we sail into the wind, against the current. We roguishly defy the way of speed and ease, stubbornly submitting ourselves to the arduous journey of finding and communicating the true forms.

The Noble Rogue emblem: a Greco-Roman helmet flanked by two swords

Veritas

Truth

The sword on the right.

Virtus

Virtue

The sword on the left.

Fidem

Faith

The final sword, hidden behind the helm. Faith is masked because its role in our works is often subtle, tucked behind layers of symbolism and allegory.

Why a helmet with three swords?

The three swords represent the core tenets of a Noble Rogue. They angle downward in a defensive parry, showing our intent to use Veritas, Virtus, and Fidem against the lies and schemes of chaos.

The helmet symbolizes a Noble Rogue’s aim to fortify the mind against deceit and ignorance. Inspired by Greco-Roman armor, it also reminds us that art should be informed by history.

Our creatives

Contracted storytellers and content-creators, passionate about the true, the good, and the beautiful.
